Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions have been created in order to inform our customers of how our services work, as well as clarifying expectations and outlining the processing which are involved when you place an order for copy or content. Kontome.com is owned and managed by Waterburrow Well Integrated Limited with offices in Nigeria.
These terms and conditions apply to anyone who has registered for an account with www.kontome.com. They apply to all work which may be carried out by www.kontome.com, which is always carried out on a price-per-project basis.

1. How it works

  • Before you can use any of the content services that we offer on www.kontome.com then you will need to register for an account with us.
  • When you have an account you will have full access to our team and our services.
  • You’ll need to get in touch with us with a brief including as much information about the job as possible – this will need to include which kind of service it is that you are after, as well as when you will need the finished copy by.
  • Once we have received your brief we will get back to you with a no-obligation quotation of the works to be carried out. All of the quotations that we send for works are valid for a total of 14 days.
  • We will also ask you to then complete a form which will tell us more information about your brand and business, as well as your target audience and the tone and style of voice it is that you require for the job.
  • If you are happy with the written quotation, then you will need to confirm with us in writing that you would like to proceed with the project.
  • The full quotation will then be due in advance of the project – we will not be able to start on any of the works until we have received these monies in full.

2. Delivery and completion

  • Before we start on your job, we will also agree a date with you when the first draft will need to be completed by.
  • Please note that while we do offer an express service for copy that is needed urgently, this could incur additional fees which will be liable to be paid in advance.
  • If you need any changes or revisions to be made on the first draft, then these will be made.
  • There are a few limited revisions which are included in the price which are intended for factual accuracy only – if there are any other issues with the copy then customers will be liable for not providing sufficient information at the time of submitting the brief and will be liable for the full costs of a re-write.
  • If there are any major changes which are required then these will incur additional costs as explained above, and these will need to be paid in full before we are able to begin work on the project.
  • If there is any additional information that needs to be added into the work then this will also require the first quote and invoice to be amended.

3. Payments

  • Once you are happy with the brief and the agreement of the works which we will carry out for you then you will be sent the final invoice.
  • The final invoice is to be paid in advance of any of the works commencing.
  • All major debit and credit cards are accepted and payments are to be made online through the secure payment portal or via a direct bank transfer using the information which is provided on the bottom of the invoice.
  • When the payment has been processed then WBIKNT, NIGERIA will appear on your bank statement as confirmation of the payment.

4. Copyright, responsibilities and permitted uses

  • We always make sure that we check to see that all of the work that we produce is free of spelling, grammar and factual errors. However, sometimes human inaccuracies may occur. It is therefore the responsibility of the client to double check the content which has been provided before they decide to publish it more widely.
  • Upon payment of the invoice, then the copyright of the content or copy produced will be assigned to you or your company or organisation.
  • We retain the rights to publish some extracts of the work which we have completed on behalf of our clients as well as links to other online materials including websites which we have written the content before as part of our own portfolio and in order to promote our own business services.
  • We are willing and able to sign any non-disclosure agreements in advance of beginning any of our work with you. If you require a NDA, then please get in touch with a member of the team by using the contact information made available at the bottom of this page.

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • As soon as we have received the payment in full for the works and we have started working on it, customers will not be able to cancel.
  • Any cancellations which are submitted after the payment has been processed will still be liable for the full fees as part of the payment as part of a kill fee.
  • In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with the service that we have provided upon completion, we of course welcome any feedback.
  • If you are dissatisfied to the level that you would wish to make a complaint and request a refund then this will need to be requested in writing and within 14 working days of the job being completed.
